Hi, I was wondering if any of you have any tips on how to simulate an ultra-high Q factor ring resonator. My target is Q > 10^6, which corresponds to the FWHM of approximately 1pm. I am not entirely sure if i can set up the simulation to have such a high resolution or if even power monitors can detect that low of the energy drop. With the FSR of 200GHz, the ring has a radius of approx. 100um which also makes it all complicated.

When trying to use the approach described here https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042322794-Ring-Modulator , I face an issue with the results. It seems like there are no drops observed and I am confused about the reason why. I am attaching transmission plots and the results of the script, that is provided in the example.
