Hi Fatur, it is possible that Ansys Granta, on the student version, does not have the material. So, the only way is to define it manually (add material)

Hi Fatur. ANSYS GRANTA Materials Data for Simulation provides a vast collection of materials data that can be used in simulation software such as ANSYS. However, if you can’t find bamboo in the GRANTA Materials Data, there are a few things you can do:
- Check if the material is listed under a different name: Sometimes, materials can be listed under different names or classifications. Try searching for other names or classifications that might be associated with bamboo, such as “bamboo fiber reinforced polymer” or “natural composites.”
- Create a custom material: If you can’t find the exact material you need in the GRANTA Materials Data, you can create your own custom material by defining its properties, such as Young’s modulus, density, and Poisson’s ratio. You can use experimental data or published values to determine the material properties.
- Use a similar material: If you can’t find bamboo or create a custom material, try using a material that has similar properties to bamboo. For example, you can use a composite material made of fibers that have similar properties to bamboo.
- Contact ANSYS support: If you have tried the above steps and still can’t find the material you need, you can contact ANSYS support for further assistance. They may be able to provide you with additional information or help you create a custom material.

Creating a custom material is a good way. Before, I didn't know about this function and I usually just choose the available materials.
