Hello,
I could use a little help as a professional courtesy. I was using ANSYS SpaceClaim for a few examples to convince my management to procure. Upon realizing it was going to be available to me via my GT-SUITE license, I ended up deleting my free trial with a few days remaining anticipating that I could re-open my files with my GT version. On downloading my GT-SUITE version, I learned that it is only the 2017 version of SpaceClaim. For what I need, this isn't a problem, but unfortunately my files are saved with the ANSYS SpaceClaim 2021 version. Is it possible to:
(a) grant me another trial so that I can save my files as a STEP file?
or
(b) use SpaceClaim 2021 and save backwards?Â
Regards,
William Walker, Ph.D.

Hello William Walker
I checked on our portal and I can see that your trial license is still valid till 2021-11-05, so you have 3 more days. I think you could just reinstall SpaceClaim 2021 version in that time. It won't be possible to save the file with older version of SpaceClaim, but you should be able to save it as step file and use it in 2017 version. Let me know if you face any issue while doing that.
Regards.
