I am studying different duct designs. For that I run 2D axissymmetric simulations in Fluent. I have run the simulations for all the geometries (in different Workbench sessions) and now I have some issues with post processing.
What I would like to do, is to compare the flows created by the different geometreis. I have two ideas how to do that but I don't know how to achive that in Fluent or CFD-Post. Here they are:
1.) Obtain the average velocity value accros a specified area on a velocity/pressure contour. (Alternativly along a line, which in 3D becomes a flux area)
2.) Overlay and then calculate the velocity difference between two different velocity contours for two different geometries (,the simulation enclosures are of the ame size).
To give you some context I append an image of an obtained contour.
All help is appreciated, thanks in advance!Â

Have a look at the line post processing surface and then Surface Reports. They should cover most of what you want.Â
