I'm a new Maxwell user trying to calculate the torque created by permenant magnets in a mechanical device. I have modeled the device in spaceclaim and canedit parameters in workbench to rotate through 360degrees of the devices operation. I have then connected that geometry to Maxwell 3d in Workbench and am able to open up any single position of the mechanism and manually run the Maxwel analysis and get a torque.
Is there a way I can get workbench to run the Maxwel analysis and output the torque result as a parameter to workbench.
If that is possible, can I then automate the angle parameter to iterate through a range and compile the torque results.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi Adem, you can assign motion setup on the moving object in Maxwell and run a transient analysis, the torque results could be automatically calculated in Maxwell. Or you can define a parameter of the angle in Maxwell and run parametrics analysis with static solvers, the torque result could be calculated in Maxwell.Â
