  My issue is i cant get the zones to match when i make them periodic in the console, ive tried refinements, methods e.c.t but i cant seem to get any further

  Have a look at hard sizing or (I think) Match control in Ansys Meshing. Or... In Fluent change the two surfaces to be interface with different labels. Then have a look in the Mesh/Grid Interfaces options in the tree.
