SubscriberHi all,
I want to model this float with external linear damper(which value is N.s/m).
How can I do that?in connection there is no option in this case.I mean hinge is not appropriate in this case cause we have just heave.
and fender's damping unit is not like linear(and also there is nothing upside of the float to connect it to fender)
I would appreciate if anyone know and guide me eith this regard.

Ansys EmployeeFender only provides the restoring force and damping force when it is in compression. By using a pair of fenders with the opposite normal directions, it will be allways one of them in compression.
