Hi everyone,

I am doing free decay test both in lab and numerical with ansys aqwa.

I just have a question about AQWA free decay test. Is any option that can capture the radiated wave around the floating object in free decay test with AQWA?(like what we do in experiment in the wave tank with putting different wave gauges around the float)

there is the response of float, but nothing about radiation wave around it.

Hello,

At the moment Aqwa does not calculate the disturbed wave surface in the time domain, though we may add this feature in the future. I'm afraid you can only output the undisturbed (incident) wave.
