SubscriberHey guys!!!
How different is workbench from APDL? is there much difference in results or analysis? which one do you guys recommend??
please share your experience as i have to decide what solver should i use for FEA including rotodynamic analysis?

SubscriberWorkbench and APDL use the same solver. The difference is the user interface to build the model and review the results.
I recommend Workbench because I find it is easier to use. Â

SubscriberHi,If you are strong in FEA flow-process and love to work step by step traditional approach go with APDL.
If you are relatively new to simulation tools & want to get straight to work prefer WB.Â

SubscriberYes, they use the same solver so will give the exact same result. It is just the user interface to build models and look at results.
