APDL: How to find nodes belonging to the outer perimeter?

Hello everyone! I'm working on my Master Thesis and there’s something really stupid I’m not getting out of.

I’m looking for a way to get in one shot (or almost!) the nodes of the mesh belonging to the outer perimeter.

For example, having the area in the figure, I would need the coordinates x and y of the nodes belonging to the perimeter.

Is there a command or a solution that does?
In addition, I will then have to work with geometries that will have internal holes and that is why I wonder if there is a strategy that automatically selects the external nodes.

      Hello Valeria,

An idea is to select the nodes which belong to each line, using the coordinates of each line. There is much information in Ansys Documentation for APDL commands, along with some examples. Please find information in the provided links (link1, link2, link3).

      Kind Regards,

      Stella
