SubscriberHi,
I have a Harmonic Response analysis with N frequencies. I want to create an APDL macro that plots Stress Components and includes the "Sweeping Angle" every 45 degrees.
I have figured out how to access the frequencies but have a hard time with the angle. Could you recommend any sources where I could find it?
Thx

Ansys EmployeeHi
Can you explain a bit more (say your are in Mechanical workbench, and want to do what or), say are you using MAPDL or Mechanical etc.?
The more info. provided, the more and better feedback can be given by forum members.
All the best

Ansys EmployeeIn mapdl we get real and imaginary part of a harmonic solution/result, or amplitude and phase (we set that with SET command) so there is no similar (sweeping phase) option in MAPDL.
In mapdl a macro is used for plotting called anharm.mac – very complex but you can have a look at it.
If this or macro does not help then open up a support request with the channel partner or with Ansys support, and we will try and help you (find a workaround etc.)All the best

SubscriberI think I found it:
HRCPLX
HRCPLX,
LOADSTEP
,SUBSTEP
,OMEGAT
,1STLCASE
,2NDLCASE
Computes and stores in the database the time-harmonic solution at a prescribed phase angle. Thanks!

Ansys EmployeeThat is great.
Closing as others might have a similar question.
