Is there any downside to invariant node numbering turned on? If not, why is it not on by default? I understand the LS-DYNA solver's philosophy is backward compatibility first so I know why it is not default there but it is off even in Workbench LS-DYNA...

hi,Â
understand what is  invariant node numbering from the user manuel,Â
invariant node numbering comes with the high computational cost and its based on users decision to tune the accuracy.Â
cheers, RamÂ
