SubscriberHi all,
IÂ would like to download ANSYS student version 19.R1 because my university uses that version... I currently own the 19.R3 version. Alternatively, is it possible to transfer and open files from ANSYS 19.R3 to ANSYS 19.R1?Â
I check on ANSYS free student software download webpage but it is not available there anymore.
Thanks in advance.

SubscriberSame here, currently I'm using the Linux cluster of my university (which only provides the 19.1 version) for my Bachelor thesis. Is there any way to download that version? As far as I know it is not possible to save a project as an older version ...
I already read /forum/forums/topic/how-can-i-get-hold-of-a-prior-release-of-the-ansys-student-products/ which couldn't really resolve the problem ...
I would really appreciate being able to work at home in times of corona, so thanks a lot for any help!

Ansys EmployeePlease use latest version 2020R1.Â
You also have 2019R3 and 2019R2 available to download.Â
Releases older than 2019R2 will not be available on this student community.Â
Regards,
Keyur

Subscriberkadi,
Ask your University to provide the installation media for version 19.1 for their Research license. Uninstall all other versions of ANSYS before you install that version. I expect the University has a way for you to VPN onto their network from home to download the media then use the Research license from the license server on their network.
JesusER,
Same applies to you, just request version 2019R1.
