July 18, 2024 at 5:56 amXime54 SubscriberHi everyone,  I have sensors in a ".scdocx" file, and my source and other stuff are located in another ".scdocx" file. I've tried to insert one file in another with conception -> add file, it works fine, but it's impossible to run a simulation, or to attribute material from a file to an element of another file. Even the "simulation" window is split between the inserted files. So is what I'm trying to do impossible, or I am doing it wrong?  Thanks.  Maxime

July 18, 2024 at 8:28 amThomas Martineau Ansys EmployeeHello Maxime, You can use a material created in the main scdoc, in a below scdocx. Example : You import in main scdocx called A, to assemblies B and C. You can use a material created in A for surfaces of A, B and C. You can use a material created in B only in B. Same for C. It's the same for the sources. Simulation created in A can include sources of A, B and C. Simulation created in B can only include source of B.  Thanks Thomas
