Hi,

the user at our customer Leoni is complaining about the regular license checks of a ANSYS SpaceClaim Named User license every 30 days. His arguments and statements:

"...The license should be reloaded every month which is very annoying.

I have to contact our IT department every month so that they assign a port for the SW in order to be able to contact the server.

I think it wants to use internet explorer which we don’t use anymore.

Can this be changed somehow or at least increase the interval from 1month to 3months at least?..."

Unfortunately, the subscription license does need to verify the licenses once in 30 days and will require an active internet connection and communication to the cloud server.
The only alternative would be for the customer to opt for the Floating license.
Please contact you Ansys representative for more information on the Floating license option.
