SubscriberHello,
As an electrical and electronics engineer, I realized that I am interested in the field of optics and as a result of my research, I realized that I can improve myself by using simulation tools in the field of optics and I want to do something in the field of optics using Ansys. How can I access the Ansys Zemax Optical tool? I also sent an e-mail to Ansys, but I did not receive any response. I would be happy if you help. I wish everyone healthy work.
Thank you,
Emin -

Ansys EmployeeHi Emin,
Sorry to hear that you didn't get a reply from us. The most common reason for this happening is that the user has an academic email. Are you an academic user? If that's the case, unfortunately we do not provide free trials for academics.
The better solution for someone at a university is to connect with their academic rep to see if there are any Ansys Optics or Ansys Multiphysics licenese bundles on campus. Those will include Zemax and Speos.
If you are still having difficulties, please provide me with more information on your occupation so I can find the right person to connect with you.
Kind Regards,
Niki

SubscriberHi Niki,ÂThank you for your response.ÂAlthough my university provides access to Ansys products, the version available lacks the Zemax tool and offers only a limited version of Speos, which doesn't fully align with my requirements. Therefore, I was hoping to explore a trial version to gain a better understanding of the software's functionalities and its suitability for my intended projects.ÂConsidering my situation, I'm eager to explore any available alternatives or resources that would allow me to access trial versions or explore licensing options independently. Any guidance or assistance you could offer in this regard I would be greatly appreciated.ÂThank you once again for your assistance and understanding.ÂBest Regards,
