Hello!
Im was working on Ansys motion expression but was struck at variable equation, 1st and 2nd order differential equations.Â
Can anyone help me with how to use these equations in mechanical interface (Not in Motion standalone application). An example problem would be of great help, explaining how to write and read the data and to give motion to a joint.Â
Your help would be really appreciated.
Regards.

Diiferential equations are used to derive value from the function expression. For instance, you defined some function as SIN(2*PI*TIME), and you want to find out the velocity and displacement for this function. You can make this function an acceleration by using the second order diiferential equation. For this differential equation, you can use DIF21 and DIF20 to get the velocity and the displacement.

I ran the engine model in the "Gettng Started" tutorial. The displacements in mechanical looked good. I also entered all the expressions with no errors. When I select "Run Post processor", Motion opens but no model or results.Any ideas how to proceed? I also tried exporting and importing but no success.
