SubscriberHello,Â
I created a model in SpaceClaim and i got the error below after launching Ansys Mechanical.
''Update of the Model component in Steady-State Thermal failed: Mechanical failed to open the database: Unable to open file C:UsersAnalysis2D_Conduction_filesdp0globalMECHSYS.mechdb. Unable to get model.''
Can anyone help me to resolve this?

SubscriberI had to create the model again and try attaching several times - same process. It eventually attached but i never got to know why it didn't in the first place. Thanks @vganore.

SubscriberPlease insert a screen snapshot of the geometry in SpaceClaim. Make sure to show the Structure tab in the Outline. Is there a Surface or Solid body?
