ANSYS Mechanical issue

  I have made 2 different components in spaceclaim, one with uprights and one with the A arms. However when i go to mechanical to add the joints, i am not able to select the uprights and a arms independantly, they are forming a combined body. Anyone know any ideas to separate them?

  Hi Avrok,
  Can you please send a screenshot of the tree showing the different components you have in SpaceClaim?
  It could be due to the reason that you did some operations like “Pull”, where by default the option is to merge the object together unless you select “no merge”.
