Ansys Maxwell ACT Machine Toolkit error

      Hello all,

I try to run a SynRM with the toolkit. After the parametric analysis is done and the script creates all the reports (Losses, flux linkage etc) the following error pops up and the simulation stops before creates the maps. The error is:

Toolkit exit -Incorrect input files to PostProcessing

Why this is happening and how can I fix it

Hello, there are several possible reasons for this error messages. some common causes are:
Too few points defined in the Map plotting settings. suggest to keep the Map steps at the default number of 40 for both Speed steps and Torque steps.
The parametric sweep did not finish completely. You might be able to check this by plotting some quantity vs all variations to see that all variations in the parametric sweep completed successfully.
If additional data was solved beyond the parametric sweep, it might confuse the calculation. Double-check the available result data and Browse solutions to keep only variations in the parametric sweep.
If the toolkit inputs were changed between setup/solve/data extraction.
If the option for separate rotor/stator was used inconsistently. Try running the toolkit extraction process again without this option to separate rotor/stator losses.
After checking these settings, and specifically that the parametric sweep completed successfully, then re-run the Toolkit ACT and choose the option to "Use results of simulations to create efficiency maps". In newer versions, there is also the option to "Resume an interrupted parametric sweep" to check if the DSO parametric sweep data is completely available.
