ANSYS Materials Library

  Hi Ansys,
  Anyone knows here how to import a materials library? We have our own materials library and its tedious to do it by using the "Add Material" and typing the materials name etc. one by one.

  Hi we (ANSYS) support xml file, so if you could check the xml file of sample libray you can parse the database into our xml format.

  Hi Henri
  In the lower right of the UI you posted is a 'Export to Library' option. You can create your materials then export them to a library. Then next time it will show up as a personal library in the upper right (if saved to your personal location).
  Ram & Henri - Maxwell uses a library format similar to XML but is not XML.
