SubscriberHello,Â
I recently downloaded ANSYS from my schools website and I keep getting errors in the console saying:Â
"ANSYS LICENSE MANAGER ERROR:Could not connect to any license server.
The server is down or is not responsive.
ANSYSLI_SERVERS: 2325@DanielGarcia
FLEXlm Servers: 1055@DanielGarcia
Â
Â
Â
Hit return to exit.
Â
Unexpected license problem; exiting."Â
I have already trying going through my universities IT department. the told me to down load Pulse-Source VPN and that should solve the issue. Successfully installed the VPN and I still get the same error. I have already uninstalled ANSYS and reinstalled it again to see if that would fix the issue but it did not. How would I be able to resolve this issue?Â
Thanks!Â

Ansys EmployeeWhat is the hostname of the machine that is hosting ANSYS license ?Â
Because you are supposed to point to that machine and not your own machine to use licenses.
Once you know the correct hostname, you can edit this by launching the Client ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility with "run as administrator" > Specify the License Server Machine >Â Edit Server Machine Specification > in the Hostname 1 box , type the hostname of the license server machine > OKÂ
Thanks,
Win
