Hi,

Why Isn't HFSS transient able to plot the Realized Gain, while it is able to plot Gain and Directivity? (ABC radiation boundary and Waveport excitation are used. Also, the dB (St(1,1)) is at least -20dB at the frequency in question and the "save frequency domain radiated field" check box is also checked at the frequency in question.)

let's note that Realized Gain is normalized on Incident power. Can you display Incident power vs. frequency? If waveport is replaced with lumped port, are S-parameters changed? What kind of Waveport do you use? Is there a possibility that at the frequency of interest the waveguide defined by this waveport below the cutoff?
