KELVIN KOECH
SubscriberHello team. I am Kelvin Koech, a student studying aeronautical engineering. I am working on a project dealing with compound engines; integrating piston engine system and turbine assembly to the exhaust system. I am looking at the aerodynamics and structural implications of the design. My question is; is it possible to integrate the Ansys Forte CFD simulation with the Ansys CFX/Fluent simulation, so that the effects of piston engine pulsation is fully captured? I will appreciate any help or guide on how to work on this. Thank you in advance

SubscriberHi, I'm Abhikrishna Ravi, a Mechanical Engineering final year student. I'm currently working on H2-Diesel dual fuel RCCI combustion. As part of the simulation we're using ANSYS Forte. We plan to work out the closed combustion modelling of the respective engine we're working on. We have don e mock simulation with the help of ANSYS tutorials and User guide. Unfortunately, the simulation is getting failed for us. We used the sector mesh generator for the purpose of making the cylinder sector and imported the bowl profile as well. Could we get some help from your side and give us some more insight on this? Regards, Abhikrishna Ravi -

SubscriberHello to everyone. I hope that someone can help me. I’m working on a project based on the tutorial chapter 2 "simulating a Diesel engine using sector mesh".  I have noticed that every simulation of mine, in the monitor section, the gross indicated work is always negative post process. Can you help me understand how I can change this?
