Ansys Fluent License Issue

I have ANSYS Fluent Student, and I'm trying to open up the solver, but it says I don't have a license. All I've done is install the ANSYS Student programs on my computer.

What other ANSYS software do you have installed (Workbench, Meshing, Mechanical, etc.), and do those opne?

I only have everything that the ANSYS Student setup program installed. I've used workbench (a bit) and discovery with no issue and the Fluent meshing tool worked as intended

Did you close the other products prior to launching Fluent?

How many cores did you try and launch on?

I tried 16 for sure because that's what the tutorial I was watching said. I'm pretty sure I also tried 12 because that's how many my CPU has. Launching only the meshing and not the solver on 16 cores worked perfectly. Also, I launched with 3d and double solver verification thing selected as per the tutorial.

Try on 4. That's what the Student licence allows you.
