Hi, I'm a beginner hoping to use Ansys Fluent to simulate ocean wave movement and its reactions to wave barriers for a school project. May I know if there are any tutorials or resources I could learn from? When looking at Youtube, I see a lot of fluid simulation videos but no tutorials on how to run these simulations. I'd appreciate if anyone could share on how to model these ocean wave + barrier wave simulations and if they could explain how to extract the data from these simulations for analysis (i.e. extract wave velocity data). There may not be a precise tutorial, but you can review the moving mesh (6DOF) functions and then separately the VOF model. You may also want to look at AQWA depending on your precise need.
