SubscriberHi
I am running the battery ROM toolkit in Ansys Fluent.
The initial run case works when need to run the flow field setup to steady state. When I start a the battery ROM toolkit training, the initial case may work but the may 2nd run fail. The timeline of this is sporadic, it is feasible that the simulation will also fail on the 1st run or 3rd run etc. The failure is a "sigsegv error", "fluent process cannot be started". It always fails at the start of a run.
Once it has failed the GUI is non responsive and none of the buttons work. If i reopen the file has corrupted from what I can tell and will never run again.
I have been able to get some smaller runs completed with the ROM toolkit but success is variable, you never know when the "sigsegv error" will occur.
In the error logs there can be plenty of files which align with the number of cores stating, "Abnormal exit".Â
Thanks
PhilipÂ

Ansys EmployeeWhich version of Fluent are you using? I recommend switching to 23R2 if you are using an earlier version.Â

SubscriberHi Murari, this occurs in a combination of versions including 23R1 & 23R2. From what i can see there seems to be a disconnect between the accessing the fluent model through workbench and fluent standalone. Even when the model is opened in fluent stanalone after origionally being created through workbench.Â

Ansys EmployeeCan you check your memory usage when running the case? This can happen due to shortage of memory.
