Ansys Electronics Student Desktop crash

  Hi, I'm using Ansys Electronics Student Desktop 2024 R2 for a project, my intention is to copy and paste the Maxwell3D model in the same Ansys file in the Project Manager. When I rightclic on the project name and then I clic on the "paste" button the software crashes and tells me everytime "Electronics Desktop Student 2024 R1 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.". Is there a way to do it differently?Is it something possible in the student version?

  Hi,
  Ansys client application do not have a backward compatibility. Using 2024R2 it shows you error related to 2024R1?

  yes, but the problem is that the software crashes

  Hi,
  Rename your Ansoft folder to Ansoft.old, it will be under your Documents folder. Relaunch the application and let me know if same issue is observed.
