SubscriberHello.
During the discovery training this time, I have a question from the trainees.1. Shortcut settings -> We asked Ansys SpaceClaim and Discovery if we could set shortcuts for functions.
Do you have any data on this part?2. Is it possible to change the color of the highlight part for Discovery?
Actually, I don't think that's the case either, so I'm just wondering.3. Could you possibly do a thermal analysis of car brakes in Discovery?
The current brake disc has the rpm and the Velocity condition is given,
The brake pad progresses to a structure (sliding) in contact with the disc, and temperature is applied to the pad body.
However, the result of applying the current Velocity condition is a bit strange.
Is there any simulation example similar to this?? (Velocity condition)Thank you for reading my inquiry so far.
thank you. -

SubscriberHello smjang1. Shortcut settings -> We asked Ansys SpaceClaim and Discovery if we could set shortcuts for functions. Do you have any data on this part?
For Spaceclaim, you can go to SpaceClaim options>Customize>Shortcuts>Add, this will pop up where a key can be set for a command. In discovery these things are not yet possible. Â
2. Is it possible to change the color of the highlight part for Discovery? Actually, I don't think that's the case either, so I'm just wondering.
You might not be able to change the color, but you can change how it will be highlighted, you can go to Display>Show and change how the face will be highlighted, see if that helps.3. I am not sure, if something of that sort can be done, but let me discuss with the team if it can be possible, with current possibilities. Regards-
