SubscriberHello,
The ACT Extensions browser will not load in ANSYS HFSS 19.0.0. (Screenshot below.) I am running Windows 8.1.
I am able to run all simulations and some of the ACT extension programs such as Savant and EMIT separately. However, the ACT extension browser will not load and does not provide any error messages to help.Â
I have tried: restarting HFSS, restarting my computer, changing the temporary and project directory, resetting the temporary and project directories back to their default. On another licensed computer on the network, the ACT extension browser does load, so I do not believe it to be a licensing issue. I have launched ANSYS EDT from the command line and setting the path to include "C:Program FilesAnsysEMAnsysEM19.0Win64", and this also does not change the behavior.Â
Â
Thanks for any help!

Ansys EmployeeHi LeoEM,
This is likely the issue with FIPS blocking websockets required by ACT extension. Try turning off FIPS and any security software on this machine.
If you want to see more details of the issue, you can set QWebDeveloperExtras environment variable to 1 , then open up AEDT and right click on the blank ACT extensions page -> Inspect
Thanks,
Win
