SubscriberHi,
I am doing the moonpool response analysis in Ansys AQWA. In that, I am getting errors
1) Elements must be atleast 1.000* facet radius apart
2) Element number __ is 1.__ times too large for frequency number __.
3) Aspect ratio of element number __ is less than the minimum of 0.333.
4) The ratio of areas of adjacent elements must be less than 0.333. Element __ violates this condition.
I have resolved the 2,3 and 4 error by changing the mesh size in mesh parameters (Defeaturing tolerance, max. element size), but still struck with error 1. I think there is no effect of defeaturing tolerances, as I have varied it from 0.1 to 0.0001 m for different max. element size from 1 to 100m but there is no change in max. allowed frequency and the generated mesh information parameters etc.
Please let me know if anyone has answer for it
Thanks,
Suraj

SubscriberHi Make sure your elements passes basic quality check with Aspect ratio, Warpage, Element angle, Jacobian.Poor quantity of elements might be reason for this
