SubscriberHello,
I have modelled the multi-body systems in Ansys AQWA. It consists of two bodies: The first body is the surface body, and the other one is a line element. The line body is connected to the sea bed via a universal joint, and I am getting the following error
"Reading deck 2:non-diffracting structure cannot be in an interacting set "
The error only occurs when interacting with the structure Group 1 is set to 'ALL'. Why this error is coming here? -

Ansys EmployeeThe hydrodynamic effects only exist between the diffraction structures in the hydrodynamic interaction group. In your model, the second structure is a line body which is modelled by Morison tube elements in Aqwa, and cannot be in a hydrodynamic interaction group with other diffraction structures in Hydrodynamic Diffraction analysis. Please set the Structure Group 1 to have the first surface body, and set the Structure Group 2 to have the second line body.
