I have downloaded and installed ansys2024R2.  When trying to run designmodeler or othe functions I get a license error see screen shot.  If I run the licese utility and click test I get the green check mark.

 

The message snippet I recieved from my IT support is shown below

Meanwhile our licensing permit license activation up to "v2024.0229" License versions.

We have loaded the 2024R2 license version of the server software. (ENTERPRISELICENSING_2024R2_LINX64)

 

I ckeck 2024R1 - It still works but the 2024R2 I get the error above.  The reason we have gone to 2024R2 is fluent is giving a license error and will not run, I was hoping the new version would fix that. We also had the newest licens server running as well.

Can you please make sure license file and license manager version are updated on server end?

My IT technician has loaded the 2024R2 license version of the server software. (ENTERPRISELICENSING_2024R2_LINX64).  I have not recieved a new license file.  The the Tech the message from the server is our license file version is to old and we need a newer version.  See below.

I think I need ANSYS to generate a new license file for our software.

Do you have access to Ansys licensing portal?
You can generate licenses if you have ASC access to licensing portal.

Yes, I have access to the Portal. I have downloaded the license but it is the same version as the old license file.  I don't see were I can generate a new licese file. I thought someone at ANSYS would need to genterate a new license file version.
