SubscriberHi, While I am trying to open workbench project file directly, I am framework error caught and am not able to open wbpj. file. If I open 2023R2 workbench and through open file option I am able to open the project file. can anyone having the same issue please share the solution. Several time (more than 6 times) I reinstalled 2023R2, but error still continue. Any help or information to overcome this error will be appreciated. My computer is recently updated to Windows 11 version 24H2

Ansys EmployeeClose all Ansys programs.
Then, rename:
%APPDATA%\Ansys\v232to:
%APPDATA\Ansys\v232.oldNow try to run.

Ansys EmployeeHello,
I want to suggest a workaround which you can try - Within workbecnh, first save this project with a different (simpler) file name at a different location; eg. D:\example\sample.wbpj. Close workbench app.
Delete obsolete ansys appdata folders - %APPDATA\Ansys\v2xx only where 2xx are the versions not currently installed on the machine.
Check associativity of wbpj file after right clicking on any wbpj file > properties and set the required version as needed.
Then try to open the file externally.

Ansys EmployeeCheck that the Prerequisites are installed. Since it was an OS upgrade,it might be that reinstalling them will fix the issues. particularly .net
