Hello

My Workbench 2023 R2 randomly stopped fully opening on Windows 11. 

When I open workbench, the application shows that it opened on the taskbar. When I hover over the icon on the taskbar, it seems that it does not fully open. I will click on the application on the taskbar and the application will flicker but not fully open.

I have unistalled and reinstalled 2023R2 and it did not fix the issue. Workbench 2023R1 opens fine.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thank you for any help

Hello  Jett,

Can you try to set DPI settings to check if it helps?

change the High DPI settings under compatibility settings. " Properties of Workbench ( click on the workbench icon from the start menu -> open file location -> right click on the properties)  > Compatibility > Click on Override high DPI scaling " 

            Change the "Scaling performed by" option to "System(Enhanced)" 

 

 

 

2. Please give it a try by disabling Intel GPU from the device manager as below, 

 

 

 

3. please make sure you have updated the graphics driver (NVIDIA’s website). 

Can you please search for Event Viewer in the start menu search bar --> then go to Windows logs --> Application and see if there are any ERRORs logged?

First off, thank you for the in depth response. This is by far the best response I have had on this forum.

Unfortunately, I have completed all of your steps and none of them have worked.

DPI scaling did not fix this issue, I have no intel GPU and my GPU drivers are up to date.
