SubscriberHi,
I have been running Ansys 2020 R2 fine using my university flexnet license. Now I installed 2021 R2 but found out that no analysis systems loaded. When I checked the tool in workbench no 'license preferences' appear.
Any help please?

SubscriberHi I have just installed the 2021 R2 (from old v19.2) and I am also trying to find out how to manage the licenses without that option...

Forum ModeratorPlease refer to this post for changes starting at 2021R1. You will need to make sure the license manager has been updated and that a new license has been installed to support 2021R1 and R2.

Regarding the license preferences, these no longer exist as of 2021R1 with the new changes to the licensing. You can manage the licenses using Options files as mentioned in the Licensing Updates document at the above link.

I am using the student version of ANSYS 2021 R2 and unable to see all analysis systems. As I am not a commercial customer, I am unable to download the License manager as well, please can you help?
Thank you
