SubscriberHello,
since yesterday I'm not able to create meshes anymore.
If I create even the simplest body, load up mechanical and try to create a mesh I receive an error:
"The mesh generation did not complete due to poor quality elements or incorrect input. Please try meshing with another mesh method or different mesh options."
Last week everything worked fine. I could create mashes and solve the model. I did not make any changes in the mesh options.
When I load my old models from last week or the models provided by my Professor, Mechanical crashes and creates a "diagnostic file" as soon as I click on Mesh. It also tells me that "AnsysWBU.exe encoutered a problem."
"
I reinstalled ANSYS2020R1 AcademicStudent as an administrator three times today. I even deleted all of the remaining folders and registry entries. I also uninstalled every piece of software that I installed since last week. Nothing worked.
I started the "User Licence Preferences" application and there are 2-3 licences depending on the application.
I'm running Windows 10 Pro (64) with a Core i7-3770 and 24 GB of ram.
What can I try next except from reinstalling Windows?
Thank you!
