I would like to create a SMA model wire and springs of 3 different materials, diameter and length to study the shape memory effect. Would like to check for the response time, displacement and force generated by the SMA during contracting while heating?Â

Hi you can use the solver in Granta Selector to have order of magnitude for material properties, under different conditions. Then you can plot an Ahsby chart, still using Selector and the Performance Index Finder, with some spring examples and thus compare different materials in terms of performance.
