      Hello,

I run the analysis for sintering but it shows error to say like the following.

The TB command is not available since Additive Manufacturing (-AMFG)
was not specified for this Ansys session.   Contact your Ansys support person for more information.

We have a licence product 2022 R1. Why Additive suite not working to perform the Sintering Wizard.

Ansys team Please have a look into this issue.

      Thank you!

      Hi viv123,

According to the message you shared, it seems your run does not have access to the Ansys Additive Suite license that is required for the type of analysis you are trying to use. Maybe you did not open Mechanical with an Ansys Enterprise level, instead, you used a lower one, which causes Mechanical not to call the Ansys Additive Suite license

Please check the solve.out for the license used when you are running the simulation.

      Thanks,

      Akshay maniyar

      Dear Akshay Ji,

Thank you for your reply, How do i ensure to use mechanical enterprise before running the solution. Please check the attached solve.out file.

Also when i click on model, it shows license prefernce at right side in which i can see the option of enterprise, (should i select this before run). Or is there any way to choose enterprise before runing.

      Thank you

      Hi viv123,

Please check the first line of the solver output file to check which license is used. To set preferences, you can select enterprise in the option you are seeing in the workbench window. Also, try setting the preferences in mechanical under File < Licensing as shown in the image below.

      Thanks,

      Akshay Maniyar

      Dear Akshay Ji,

      Thank you for your reply.

You mean from workbench module window i can select preference-Ansys enterprise and from license option, i can select additive suite. Is it correct?

Please check the attached figure is it correct to select.

      Thank you!

      Dear Akshay Maniyar Ji,

I tried bothg the things andd checked the license from the first line of solver output file. It shows

Ansys Mechanical Enterprise Academic Research    like this.

Aslo setting the license from workbench window and licensing option not solving the problem. It gives same error

That error message would make sense if you were trying to run Additive Manufacturing in MAPDL.

It that case, Ansys requires the additional command line argument.

It seems like when WB-Additive solver is launched, it is not sufficiently set up to run MAPDL in batch for this analysis.

      Dear John Doyle,

      Thank you for your response.

      Yes, it worked.
