SubscriberHi. I am trying to simulate the airflow on a sidepod for an FSAE car. After fixing the geometry and creating BOI's and the enclosure in Spaceclaim, when I import the geometry into FLUENT, I end up having an additional region showing up as "fluid"
This "fluid" is simply the sidepod itself, despite having suppressed the physics for the model of the sidepod in spaceclaim. Does this new region influence the simulation itself?

Ansys EmployeeHi Gonçalo,
You can set the region as Dead in the Update Region task stage to avoid meshing those regions.Â

SubscriberWhat is the reason for the extra region to be showing up? Is it some sort of overlap or something else?
