SubscriberHello,nI am using WB2020. I am importing a fairly complicated external model (including a mesh) to use in a static structural analysis. For some analyses, I want to add some simple geometries (squares, rectangles, cylinders) in order to see how this affects the analysis. Is there an easy way to add these geometries to the external model without losing the meshing? nThanks, Troyn -

Ansys EmployeeHitroykrizaknYou can use model assembly to add components. Example schematic:nYou can import mesh using external model. create new geometry in Mechanical model. Assemble the data in Static structuralnFor details check help doc:https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v202/en/wb_sim/ds_mesh_mod_examples.htmln
