SubscriberHello,Â
I'm implementing a model of fluid flow and heat transfer with MHD module in Fluent which affects only wall with magnetic field. This tecnology is called Thermalmagnetic Motor. The fluid is water, so it isn't affected by the magnetic field. The problem is the material of this wall. It's gadolinium and it has magnetic permeability that varies with temperature. For example: above 293K, the magnetic permeability decrease because of the curie temperature. Also, the Cp ( heat capacity) of this material varies with temperature and magnetic field.
As far as I know, I can't import engineering data from ansys workbench. Furthermore, the User Guide has only the constant option for magnetic permeability. Also, I can't creat a UDF propriety for this kind of propriety. How can I import a table with propriety and the values of a material to fluent? For example: Density, Cp, magnetic permeability as column and the rows as the values. Or, how can I use User-Define-Database for this kind of material to solve my problem?

Ansys EmployeeHello,Â
I think only the constant method is the built-in method available for magnetic permeability. There is an option for using input parameter where you can use expressions.
