SubscriberHi everyone.
I'm trying to simulate a simple round topcap, as in the figure, and would like to pick radial elements, to simulate the fibers radially.
I've made several parallel selection rules, in 12 equally spaced directions.
If I make the ply without any selection rule, it works fine and the body gets thickened, but if I apply a selection rule, it just stay with a zero thickness.
I've tried applying the selection rule to the Oriented Selection Set and to the Modeling Ply, both give the same result, zero thickness.
What I'm doing wrong? -

SubscriberHi Reno.
Thanks for your reply.
I figured it out, my lower and upper limits on the selecion rule were inverted.
The lower limit was positive and the upper limite was negative, I just made the opposite and it worked fine. -
