Hi Team,
I'm fairly new to ansys and I want to run modal and static structural analysis on a CFRP-Al honeycomb. I designed the model in ACP pre and defined the material properties for both prepreg and honeycomb core. I defined the lay up using stackups and I also tried defining modelling groups. However, once the solid model is generated, it seems like the whole block has the properties of the honeycomb core, giving me a weight far less than the expected weight. Can you please help me to figure out this?
Thanks. -
