SubscriberHi, nI use the EDC model to simulate a reactive turbulent flow, and use the results to calculated a population balance model via UDF. In Fluent 14, I used the C_TMP macro to save the field from the screen. I know this variables has been replaced by the C_POST_VAR since version 17, but it does not seem to work the same way. Is there an easier way to access the Net Reaction Rates via UDF?nThanks a lot.n -

Ansys EmployeeHello, nYou can use the field variables to define the net reaction rate for EDC model. Please refer to the Fluent User's guide : https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v202/en/flu_ug/flu_ug_fvtables.html%23x1-22520055. Refer to the sections under Reactions. n -

SubscriberHello, thanks for the reply.nBut these tables list the available variables in the models, and I want to access them from a User Defined Function. I needed a way to access the Reaction Rates similarly to the way I access temperature and pressure fields (via Cell Macros).n
