SubscriberI have been running simulations on Ahmed Body for the last few months using the same reference values and methods. After adding diffuser and vortex generator individually, I have obtained reduced drag. But, whenever I'm trying to simulate them combinedly, I'm getting absurd results. But, I should have obtain more reduced drag. What might be causing the problem?

SubscriberHello,
Â
I'm not sure if I understand the issue correctly. Is it related to the post-processing of data using streamlines or the accuracy of the calculated drag values?
If you are concerned about the accuracy of drag calculations, it's recommended to verify the results using force reports.
Â
Thanks!

Forum ModeratorLooking at the above you've got something weird going on. How're the residuals looking, and what about velocity, pressure etc contours? You can't just rely on one value or image when trying to figure out what's going on in a model.Â
