      Hi there.

I would like to set the number of cores in Chemkin.

Up to Chemkin2021R1, I was able to do this by changing the value of [Preference>Run/Output>Job Submission Preferences>Number of Threads].

However, since Chemkin2021R2, the "Number of Threads" field is missing.

      What should I do?

      Hello,
You can go to Edit --> Preferences --> Run/Output

There is no need to make any adjustments. For 2021 R2, this setting was removed. Chemkin is not parallel like CFD, and it was found that setting the threads >1 resulted in little speedup.
The main speedup advantage Chemkin has is for parametric runs, where Chemkin can perform the calculations for all parameter combinations simultaneously.
