SubscriberHi there.
I would like to set the number of cores in Chemkin.
Up to Chemkin2021R1, I was able to do this by changing the value of [Preference>Run/Output>Job Submission Preferences>Number of Threads].
However, since Chemkin2021R2, the "Number of Threads" field is missing.
What should I do?

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You can go to Edit --> Preferences --> Run/Output

Ansys EmployeeThere is no need to make any adjustments. For 2021 R2, this setting was removed. Chemkin is not parallel like CFD, and it was found that setting the threads >1 resulted in little speedup.
The main speedup advantage Chemkin has is for parametric runs, where Chemkin can perform the calculations for all parameter combinations simultaneously.
