SubscriberI'm currently doing a thermo-fluid analysis. For example, how do I set if I want to have temperature fluctuations at only one point?nWith the standard initialization of fluent's initial setting, all cells are given the same temperature as initial conditions.n -

Forum ModeratorIf you want a temperature to fluctuate you'll need a transient boundary or cell zone (source term or FIX) condition. n -

Forum ModeratorIf it's just an initial condition use a Patch. Initialise with uniform values and then patch regions that are a different temperature. n -

Forum ModeratorLook in the initialise section from the tree menu, once you initialise the model click on Patch and have a look around. You may need to create an adaption register to give yourself a region to use in the patch function. nIn Google look for fluent patch region and you'll see some YouTube videos.n
