SubscriberHello everyone,
I would like to ask 2 technical questions about Ansys Fluent.Â1) Is it possible to use the in-cylinder feature at two different zones in a single model with different compression properties (stroke, angle, etc.)?Â2) Can two fluent models be dynamically coupled (two-way information exchange) in Ansys Workbench?ÂI would be very happy if you could answer my questions. -

Hello,Â
1) Only one set of in-cylinder properties can be defined at a time in Fluent. To have 2 different piston-like motions, you can use UDFs to define your motions.
2) Yes, Systems Coupling can have 2 Fluent Participants. However, this would only apply to thermal analyses. Fluent cannot pass Displacement or receive Force variables.Â
