Hello everyone!
Recently, I am doing a thermal simulation using AEDT Icepak. In this simulation, I need to build a block which has uneven power loss distribution.
The first figure gives a simple illustration. Within the cuboid block, the power loss distribution is spatially dependent. Accoring to AEDT Icepak Help, we can create and assign a 3D dataset to certain thermal boundary condition properties. To define a thermal property with a 3D dataset, I enter the following expression : clp(datasetName, X,Y,Z), as shown in the second figure. I want to know how to complete the form in the third figure? -

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out. the columns for x, y, z are provided and a column for power is provided. You will need to enter the spatial variation. Hope this helps.Â
Best,
Pdev
